Diamond Ruby engagement wedding set marquie cut - $800 (Tracy)
This is a 3/4 carat Ruby with a 1/3 carat diamond jacket set on 14K gold rings. I just put $800 in as an estimate. I'm looking for offers and think I'll get around there. A pawn shop offered me $550, and you know they are going to sell if for about 3 times that. The jewelry store will give me full purchase price trade in on the Jacket, but I don't want a $900 watch and then I'd have to sell the engagement ring. I have the receipt for the diamond wedding jacket. 12 years ago when everything was cheap, it was $819 for just the jacket. The Ruby engagement ring was about the same. With inflation, this set would be 50% more at least than the $1,600 or $1,700 I paid. I would get it professionally polished and cleaned and stones and gold never "get old" so it's just like a new set. Call me if you have any questions.
