Southpoint Homes, a level 10 Group Home, is currently hiring for Child Care Workers to work in their North Stockton Facility. Southpoint works with 6 teenage girls in a residential care home. The residents in our facility are Foster Youth whom are close to turning 18 years old and are about to embark on adulthood. Our job is to help prepare them for emancipation by teaching them appropriate socialization skills and other life skills that will help them as they transition into the "real world"
This is an entry level position and part time position. Job duties include, but are not limited to, transporting residents to and from appointments, providing direct supervision to residents in the home and in the community, preparing meals for residents, providing guidance and direction to the residents, being a good role model for the residents, and performing necessary business duties.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivelent (although college graduates or college students who have completed at least 60 units are preferred). You must have a very clean DMV record in that you must clear a DMV check ran by our auto insurance company, and you must have a clean criminal background, in that you will have to pass a fingerprint check.
