My name is Stephanie. I am 24, attending Delta College majoring in Computer Science Web Development. I live with my boyfriend in Lodi with my two cats, Spaz and Shock. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, moved out here 1 year ago.
I grew up in a dog family. The vast majority of the dogs we had were the smaller breeds. I have no fear or objections to watching larger breed dogs, I actually prefer them! My dream dog is a black Great Dane. I have leased a horse, and rode for approxamatly 4 years now (western). I have handled goats, pigs, and of course horses. At one point, before I moved to this valley from the bay area, I had two snakes, Sylvester, and Slinky. I've handled many different kinds of rodents. Rest assured that I am 100% animal friendly. I don't believe in hitting animals, that teaches them nothing more than to fear you, and could lead to aggressive behavior.
I will travel to the following areas: Stockton, Galt, Lodi, Elk Grove (plus $20 for gas), and Lathrop (plus $20 for gas) as well as all the areas in between.
Fee for pet sitting is negotiable. It will be based first and foremost on:
1) how many animals you have
2) how big are the animals (therefore how much maintenance per animal)
3) How many days you would like me to watch them
4) how much you can reasonably afford.
What I can do:
1. For your pets:
pets I will accept:
- Dogs
- feed, water, groom, wash, walk, play
- Cats
- feed, water, groom, wash, play, clean litter boxes
- Fish
- Feed, clean tank(s)
- Rodents (Mice, Rats, Hampsters, ect.)
- Feed, water, clean cage, handle
- Hoofed Animals (Horses, Cows, Donkeys, Mules, Goats, ect.)
- clean stalls (extra cost), feed, water, grain, grooming, lunging.
- Birds (Indoor birds, Chicken, Turkey, Geese, ect.)
- clean out water ponds for ducks (extra fee), feed, refill water, collect eggs, (for indoor pet birds) let out of cage for free fly time inside
- Reptiles (Turtles, Snakes, Lizards, ect.)
- Feed, water, clean terrarium, handle
I absolutly will not take care of any kind of spiders, lets face it, they freak me out!
Please feel free to call me to set up a time to meet. I prefer to meet with the animals first when the owners will be present.
*Please note* If in any case I end up being bitted or attacked by anyone's animal, I will not sue (and I will willingly sign any contract stateing that.) Working with animals, you have to accept that you might be hurt sometime. I accept it, and I learn from the situation, plus I have my own medical insurance :)
