This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the heart of Chapala. It comfortably sleeps 4 people with 2 queen size beds, dressers and closets. Ceiling fans are included in each room.
Maid service is available. Apartment includes purified drinking water.
TV and DVD player with over 60 movies to watch in English and Spanish. CD / Radio as well. Kitchenette with fridge and small eating area. Many people don't eat in because less than $4 US buys you a very nice meal within a 5 minute walk. For example, you can get some Huevos Rancheros plate and fresh squeezed orange juice with tip or a breakfast buffet. A chicken with rice, tortillas, salsa and salad, enough for 2 to 3 people runs under $5.00US.
1 block to the heart of town and 1/2 block to the lake. Walk to money exchange, restaurants, the lake, bus station, municipal marketplace, town square, tianguis and more.
Stroll by the lake everyday and take a 2 minute walk to eat by the waterfront. Everything is at your fingertips! Forget your alarm clock? Wake up to the church bells!
Rental rate includes internet access and use of a new high speed computer. Computer is loaded with MS Office [Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher], Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Winfax, Photoshop 7, 20 in 1 memory card reader, so you can email your friends and family photos of your daily adventures, CD and DVD burner and more for making photo cds or doing work.
UNLIMITED calls to the US and Canada with a US call back number for friends and family to call you back without high international rates.
Cell phone with local Mexican phone number for receiving calls on the go. (You must buy airtime in 100 peso increments and additional deposit required).

2nd rental unit available with 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, one tiled outdoor atrium and another inlaid with stone. Ground floor living. Wireless internet but no computer or free phone calls included in this unit. Abundant natural light with huge glass doors leading to the stone inlaid atrium.
Long term rental available in Chapala Haciendas, a few km from town for $400 per month for a long term tenant but no phone or internet. Email or call for details.
$199/week low season, $299/week high season, Holidays may be slightly higher, paid in advance of arrival plus $400 cash deposit payable on arrival. Additional deposit of $150 required for cell phone. No checks or credit cards accepted. Payment may be made by US Postal Money order or Deposit into US Citibank account, Bank of America account or Mexican Lloyd account.
Holidays include but are not limited to Christmas Week, New Years Week, Carnival (February), Semana Santa (Easter Week), Chapala Fiestas (Sept 25 to Oct 4th), Revolution Day (November 20th), Independence Day (Sept 15-16th).
