This clock has had three appraisals. One by Cristina Campion at Clars Auction Gallery, another by Andrew Jones of Bonhams, and the other by John Delaney, Antique Clock Specialist at Antiques Roadshow.

This is a Louis XIV Boulle decorated and ebonized clock circa 1720 France. The case is exquisite. The clock works but it was repaired about 1850 (according to John Delaney).
It has the pendulum and key. The weathered paper insert said:
GLEIZES 3 Place Vendome 3
Objet D' Art Csites Paris.
I will deliver this to you at a safe location near you, the clock is 17#, 20" by 5" by 11". Cashier's check accepted.
(The blue wire on the back was placed by my father 50 years ago. The clock was on their mantle and worked as he wound it every day, but it was earthquake country so it was secured to the wall).
