Vintage Westinghouse Columette Tombstone radio (Model #WR-10-A) from 1931 that is in good condition when you consider its age. The finish on the radio is showing wear from age and has been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.
The middle knob is missing but when a temporary knob was placed on it, it would turn but the station did not move. The other knobs to the left and right both move freely and smoothly. When the radio is plugged in and turned on, the bulbs light up but I was only able to get a faint hum. The speaker grill has a tear on the top right corner but it's very small. There's also a very small piece of the wood that chipped off.
The metal around the station portion turned green from the elements but can be cleaned up. Despite the minor flaws, this radio is in good condition.
I don't know about the guts of the radio but it all seems to be there.
There was one just like this selling on eBay for $165.00 but it's been modified. I'm asking $150.00 or best offer. Don't hesitate to make an offer - all will be considered.
