Here is Tumbles the Bear Porter, made in Japan by Yano Man toys in the 1960's. He stands 9 inches tall, with his original hat, and works fine and is in mint condition with the original colorful box as show above. The box cover has a description of what the bear does and the side panels have an illustration of what the bear looks like in action. The instructions to load the batteries are also on the sides of the box. The box has tears to the corners. The batteries go in the suitcases and the suitcase has the original Yano Man factory label on its side. Please see pictures. Click on the picture for a larger image size.

Turn the switch on and the bear walks along, stops, flips his body head over heels a few times and then goes back to walking again.

This is an excellent vintage Japanese toy for the discriminating collector.
