Welsh Harlequins are a beautiful and highly practical heritage duck breed, prized for their calm, friendly nature and ease of care. They are active, efficient foragers that do well on pasture, integrate smoothly into mixed flocks, and are generally quieter than many other duck breeds-making them an excellent choice for homesteads and small farms.

Hens are exceptional layers, producing 250-300 large white to lightly tinted eggs per year, and are well known for continuing to lay consistently through the cooler months when many other breeds slow down.

Our Welsh Harlequin ducklings are produced from exhibition-quality breeding stock originating from Holderread Waterfowl Farm's renowned show pens, which are internationally respected for helping to set the standard in this breed.

Our birds are carefully selected for correct conformation, strong fertility, calm disposition, and reliable egg production, resulting in offspring well suited for serious breeders, homesteads, and family flocks alike.

Ducklings are easily sexed at hatching.

Drakes- $35/ea.
