Overview:
JK Electrical Services is a growing electrical contracting company seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Service Dispatch / Project Coordinator. This role is central to daily operations managing service scheduling, coordinating communication, and ensuring jobs move efficiently from start to closeout.
This is not an entry-level admin role. You must be comfortable handling multiple moving priorities, field coordination, and client communication simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch electricians for service calls and small projects
Manage daily communication with clients, vendors, and internal team
Prepare job folders, invoices, and closeout documentation
Track job progress and ensure deadlines and documentation requirements are met
Order materials and coordinate delivery for service work
Maintain accurate and organized project records
Provide clients with status updates and required documentation
Support ownership with administrative and operational tasks
Perform general office duties (data entry, filing, scanning, etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years in construction, electrical, or similar industry
Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or project coordination
Strong ability to multi-task under pressure
Clear and professional communication skills (phone + email)
High attention to detail and follow-through
Proficiency with Google Sheets and general office systems
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Service Titan
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Understanding of construction industry workflows and documentation
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
