Hegner Multi-Max (2) 18V variable speed precision scroll saw is in excellent condition.
It features a 400-1700 RPM variable speed motor. The saw shows little use and has been in storage for over 15 years. It was previously used at a community center and used only occasionally on a weekly basis. The saw is dated 1994. The motor turns on and off and runs perfectly. I did not test the saw for cutting abilities.
The foot switch turns the motor on and off. The motor is ON when your foot is on the switch; OFF when your foot is off the switch. The saw will operate with the foot switch or can be plugged in directly to an outlet and controlled with the motor switch. The foot switch is great for safety and user convenience.
The stand is especially designed for the Hegner saw. It’s triangular construction limits vibration dampening. The high grade welded steel construction will last many years.
There are many extra new saw blades (maybe 50?) see photos.
Included are 25 wooden patterns of various sizes, shapes, thickness, and wood types.
This is a precision machine constructed in Germany. It would be an excellent addition to any serious or novice woodworkers shop.
