Construction Tradesperson (Plumber, Carpenter, Drywall Installer/Finisher, Electrician)
Position Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Construction Trades Professionals to join our growing team. Candidates may specialize in plumbing, carpentry, drywall installation/finishing, electrical work, or possess experience in multiple trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Essential Responsibilities
General Construction Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Perform work in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and trade-specific equipment safely.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Plumbing Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings.
• Perform pressure testing and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Ensure installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Inspect plumbing systems for proper operation and functionality.
Carpentry Responsibilities
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, metal, and other materials.
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
• Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry elements.
• Measure and cut materials accurately according to specifications.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
Drywall Responsibilities
• Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels.
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces.
• Repair damaged drywall and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Apply textures and finishes as required by project specifications.
• Ensure smooth, professional-quality finishes.
Electrical Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and install electrical equipment according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes.
• Follow all electrical safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in construction, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, electrical work, or related trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with applicable building, plumbing, and electrical codes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
• Trade certifications, apprenticeships, or journeyman-level experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential construction.
• Ability to work across multiple trades.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
