Per Diem Trucking Yard Support Driver (Class A Required)
We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to provide ongoing trucking yard support and equipment movement services.
We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a reliable driver who can assist our operations on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
Typical Duties
• Moving trucks and trailers or relocating
• Trailer shuffles and equipment staging
• Delivering and retrieving trailers from vendors and customers. Or purchase pickups.
• Preloading trailers for dispatch operations
• Assisting with truck and trailer relocations
• Supporting fleet maintenance and repair operations
• Transporting equipment to service providers when needed
• General transportation support for trucking operations
Requirements
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current Medical Certificate
• Clean and insurable driving record
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and trailers
• Dependable and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Position Details
• Per diem / as-needed work call out basis
• Flexible schedule
• Local assignments with occasional regional travel
• Hourly compensation based on experience DOE
