Door & Millwork Delivery Driver
We are a growing door and millwork company seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver / Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for loading, securing, transporting, and delivering interior doors, trim packages, and millwork products to residential construction job sites throughout the Bay Area.
Compensation
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience operating vehicles equipped with air brakes
- Experience operating a forklift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials
- Strong attention to detail and job site safety
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
Job Responsibilities
- Load trim packs, doors, and millwork onto company flatbed trucks
- Verify materials against delivery paperwork before loading
- Secure loads properly for safe transportation
- Deliver materials to residential construction job sites
- Perform garage deliveries and ensure materials are placed safely and neatly
- Inspect materials before loading and upon delivery for damage
- Complete delivery logs and required paperwork accurately
- Communicate with project managers, warehouse staff, and job site personnel
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, forklifts, and warehouse areas
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow all company, DOT, and job site safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering building materials to construction sites
- Knowledge of doors, trim, molding, and millwork products
- Flatbed truck experience
- Construction industry experience
