We are looking to rehome our sweet cat to someone who is patient and willing to work with her. We adopted her a few years ago from PetSmart when she was still a kitten and had recently been spayed. We were told she was found in a garage before she was brought in. Since the day we got her, she has always felt safest and most comfortable in our garage and becomes very distressed when brought inside the house. We suspect she may have had a scary experience before we adopted her and may still be dealing with that fear. She is my brother’s cat, but he will soon be leaving for college and we want to find her a loving home where someone understands her needs and can slowly help her feel safe and comfortable. We are hoping to find someone kind, patient, and experienced with shy or fearful cats.
